First Collaboration Shoes "GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VII" Released
Traditional Chelsea boot construction with GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VII technical sole.
The shoes are inspired by the Chelsea boots worn by a group of British rock bands that designer Takahiro Miyashita admires. The upper of the shoe is made of polished leather with suede accents on the heel and pull tab. The boots also feature stretch webbing around the ankle for a classic look.
The design philosophy of TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. is to create elements that "seem to be symbolized but are not, and on the other hand, seem not to be symbolized but are symbolized. By creating an element of "something that is not symbolized, and on the other hand, something that does not seem to be symbolized, but is symbolized.
The base "GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VII" incorporates key running technologies developed at the ASICS Sports Engineering Laboratory into everyday use.
Scutoid GEL™ technology is mounted around the midsole for superior shock cushioning. FF BLAST™ cushioning in the midsole heel has been fine-tuned to enhance shock cushioning in the rearfoot area of this shoe, combining superior functionality and design.

Born in Tokyo in 1973. He did not attend fashion school, but taught himself how to make clothes. After working as a planning buyer for Nepenthes Corporation, he became independent and established KOOKS CO.,LTD. in November 1996, launching "NUMBER (N)INE." He has participated in the Tokyo Collections since the 2001 Fall-Winter season and in Paris Fashion Week since the 2004 Fall-Winter season. On February 20, 2009, he announced the dissolution of NUMBER (N)INE after the 2009 A/W season, and in July 2010, he presented the 2010 Winter collection of "TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. On September 9, 2011, he opened the first "grocerystore." (now renamed "TakahiromiyashitatheSoloist. In January 2018, he was selected as the main guest designer for the 93rd Pitti Immagine Uomo and held a joint show with UNDERCOVER in Florence for the A/W 2018 collection.
